Celebrating My 9 Year Cancerversary Today!!

It's hard to believe really. On the one hand it seems like forever ago. On the other, it seems like a couple of weeks ago! I remember so clearly everything that went down that day and forever changed my life!

Grateful for every day, month and year since then!

And to all the "newbies"...just know, the anxiety, fear and consuming thoughts of cancer does fade away as time goes by. I only get a little freaked right before my yearly mammogram. And once I'm "clear" to leave the office, I'm good! Cancer won't always take up every single thought in your head...it just takes a little time. :)

    Every time we see someone years out from the diagnosis, it just puts added hope into our lives!

    Nine years is a good amount of time you've got going there. Here's to 90 more, if you'd like. It's good to know the thoughts and fears will subside with time.
