Good Day!!

I had my follow up with my surgeon today (my bilateral mastectomy was on 8/27). They pulled my drainage tube in the right side. The left one will be there for a while since I had chemo before surgery and that is the side they did the lymph nodes. Anyway...right side benign. Left side there was no evidence of any invasive cancer remaining and my 8.8cm tumor was reduced by 93%!!!! 3 positive lymph nodes out of the 22 that they removed. The chemo did the trick and the surgeon got what was left. I see my oncologist to start planning the next step in my treatment. AND...my hair is starting to grow back
I just needed to share. Today was a good day!!!
