    I'm Sandy, 67 years old OMG, I live in Orlando, Florida. Just completed all my treatment June 15, 2010. Had my biopsy June 17, 2009. It's been a busy but fast year. Guess I was in chemo fog most of the time. Joined the boards in Sept. 2009.

    I'm from Johnson City, TN and I'm 50 yrs old or young. I live in the northeast corner of TN near VA and NC border. Having a double mastecomy and chemo as an acheivement of reaching 50.

    I am penny, I turned 50
    I am penny, I turned 50 while in treatment, this is my second primary. I had a local recurrence after the first one. here's hoping three times is the charm. I live in Ma. have a great husband and two daughters. I like to shop, go to movies, long walks on the beach(if I didnt have PN) and am so gratful for all you folks!

    My name is melinda and live in Texas. My choice was to have a prophatic (so) double mastecomy a month ago. I live with my husband of 25 years, my daughter and granddaughter. Not to be left out are 5 dogs, 2 cats and a fish I can't stand.

    Also 57 and live in Louisiana. I'm an old timer as I first had breast cancer in 1987 and then had metastasis in 2009. That's 23 yrs and still fighting!

    Hi sisters i'm Kathie, I live in West Des Moines Iowa, 47 years old, 2 children (24 and 26), 2 grandchildren (boys 9months and 2 1/2) double masectomy in feb 2010 with immediate reconstruction and I just finished my last taxol (12) today!!!!!!!!! I had 4 ac bfore that. I have wonderful family and friends and love all my bc sisters from whom I have learned more from than I ever thought possible!

    Hi everyone, im JoJo and 42 years young, Im a neighbor of Kathie's...I also live in Iowa (Council Bluffs), across the bridge from Omaha Nebraska. Im done with chemo, had a bilateral mastectomy and 3 weeks ago i finaly got the long awaited exchange...i gave up the rock hard expanders for nice soft gummie bear implants. :)

    Hey Lynn!
    I've been through Council a few times! Howdy Sis/neighbor! You know, especially when I was walking through the parking garage at St Lukes MSTI daily to and from Radiation, I would see license plates from all over our state. I reacted with such empathy and sympathy. My affirmations came so easily. I always thought, I am driving 10 minutes tops to get here, I can drive myself, I can walk up and down the stairs etc... I am doing great-no complaints here!!! Did you have to drive far?

    My name is Janice I am 49 I live in the central part of Texas! I had a lumpectomy in March, finished chemo in July and am 1/3 done with rads. I have 2 wonderful kids 27 and 25 1 girl 1 boy, a great son in law and daughter in law and 3 grandkids 2 boys and 1 girl. 2 dogs a Yorkie and a Chihuahua. Go Rangers, Go Texans, Boo Cowboys!!
