I hadn't heard from Peter in awhile so I sent a PM to check up on him. He was so helpful to so many on here including Pam and I when we were looking at clinical trials. I received this response:

"Hi Al,
My husband left for heaven on July 5. Please don't get discouraged by this. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts. We wish you the best.
JT (Peter's wife)"

What a strong and loving family.

Damn this disease.

    Oh my am I sad to hear of Peter passing. What a gentle and encouraging soul. I am praying for his family. Peter gave so much.

    Peter was so helpful and hopeful in his last trial......All I can do is shake my head and cry and then focus my anger

    I am so sorry to hear this news. I love Peter's posts + his gentle manner. The photo of him with his posts made me feel peaceful, he looked so content. My condolences go to his family.

    thank you for informing us....but this is horrible...>.< Yesterday was my mom's 34th birthday...I bought her a huge bouquet of flower...Geez...I'm soooo sad...I cannot believe people leave...

    There has been so much sadness lately. At least his suffering is over and he can be at peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family

    This really sucks.Last several weeks,we have been receiving a lot bad news,yesterday I really couldn't hold anymore,I cried very hard in the morning.Please rest in peace,dear Peter.

    You said for us not to worry about you, that you knew where you would be going. I just was surprised to hear it happened so quickly. I'm praying for your wife and family right now. I guess I no longer need to pray for you- you're in the arms of the angels and with Jesus. I'm just sad that your homecoming had to be at such a young age, and by prematurely leaving your family because of having this dreaded disease. Look for Louann and Kimby- they are there in heaven, too.

    I just have to think of the glory I believe Peter, Louann, and Kimby (and others gone on before) are experiencing now in heaven- it's the only way I can deal with so many deaths these past couple of weeks.

    I miss Peter already, he is such fine man, he care about other people, he went on clinical trials, hope other's can benfit too. I wish he rest in peace, and very best to his family.

    So much saddness lately, just breaks my heart. Its kind of nice to think of Pete, Kim and Louann up there enjoying each others company....That does make me feel alittle better, I feel so bad for the families as well...Prayers are for them now...
