Surgery/prayer request

I am having surgery in two weeks--to remove a tumor on my rectum. I'll have a temp illestomy for 8 weeks, then the doctor will reattach everything. Please pray that everything goes ok. I don't post much but I read the board often. I am happy for all of the latest NED dancers and I hope to join you all one day :)

    Good luck with surgery
    Here's wishing you all the good luck and prayers I can offer. Today marks five weeks since my surgery and I am feeling great. I will start chemo Wed and can't wait for it to be over so I can put my dancing shoes on. Please update us when you can.

    Yes, Natalie, extra prayer for your upcoming surgery. I think of you often and wonder how you are doing. Glad to see you post. I do hope all is going well as I know the illeosotmy was a concern for you in the past. I had a temporary illeostomy after my inital surgery. It was reattached at a later date with success. I wish you the best of luck!!!

    Natalie.....I pray every single night for all my CSN sisters. I will add your name to my ever-growing list.

    Speaking of prayer, I was thinking back the other night to my childhood. Remember when you'd want somethng so badly, you would make bargains with God? If you only do this one thing for me, Lord, I will never ask you for anything else. Ever. I promise. I hope God doesn't hold me to that. 'Cause if there was ever a time that I needed to play the last request card, this would be it.

    I see that your surgery is 8/9. My church has a prayer group that meets on thursday mornings -I will give them your name and ask them to pray also. Don't fear...... God is with you :)
