Yes .. M-Star I did have a pocket revision - and a lift to both
breasts. In fact my surgeon also lipo some fat from under both arms (imagine that) so that there are no bumps or lumps under my arms - Dr. Turpin is awesome!

I opted for the saline implants - due to the softness, and more IMPORTANTLY if there is a leak .. they can be FIXED in the doctors office - no need for surgery to repair leaking implant. Just my choice.

Infact I may be opting out of nipple reconstruction, and go straight to my 3D Areola tatto's. I have seen 20 photo's at PS office, and it is so hard to tell if there is or is not a nipple in the photo's. Also, if I wear a tank top, or thin top I never have to worry about the nip's standing at attention in a colder environment. This is my choice - I also can wait a while and go back and have nipples reconstructed - that option is always available to me.

I can not stand the idea of putting my body thru another surgery .. 5 major surgeries in 11 months ..yes major -- 18 weeks of straight chemo .. no breaks .. I was fainting, and have yet return to any sense of routine. I at times get lost driving, and must write down what I need to do when cooking .. burning everything under the sun. Which is not me .. I am an excellent cook, with cooking school experience behind me.

This is what I have decided to do at this stage of my chemo treatments. No more surgeries! Just me, my decision.

Love and Huggs to you all :))))

    No nipples no tattoo
has been my choice since I finished radiation. I had 4 major surgeries over 3 moths, 6 Chemo and radiation. I have not regrets about my decision and 12 months later have been enjoying swimming in public pools without nipples.

    No Nipps
I had a double "skin sparing" mast. (saved the nipples). If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have saved the nipples. They are just in the way. They are pretty much uncontrollable so you are at their mercy! It limits the bras I wear and some of the shirts I want to wear with the more comfortable bras. Just my opinion, but I think they just add another hassle.

Wow you are doing fabulous and I'm really happy to hear this because one of these days it will be me going through this, and I need to hear all about everyone else's success, just to keep me at ease. Please keep all of us updated as the days go by, I will be getting saline implants too if I go with the double mastectomy. I want to end up with sm all boobs, currently I am a DD and want to become a B. One more reason why I really don't want to do a lumpectomy.
