Vicki Sam is home, resting and recovering -- Not too bad // Exchange went well this morning at 7:30

I am of course sore, breast area and arms tender -- my throat hurts from my breathing tube.
I was so nerves this morning .. my blood pressure was 214/112 when I arrived at the hospital -- it did go down to 185/97 .. 10 minutes before surgery.
Thank you all for the prayers and warm wishes, best of your friendship -- no one really fully understands all we go thru ..
Vicki Sam

I cant believe no drains!!
And girl, im jealous because i think you were diagnosed after me and i still havent gotten my reconstruction done. I am scheduled for Aug 12th. I cant believe you are home too. They are keeping me for a couple of days. Maybe because now they have to borrow tissue from my back to replace the tissue on the left breast that i lost when it got infected. They also told me i would have a drain in my back and on both sides. Im glad it went so well. Did you have implants or what? -
Glad you're doing so wellDot53 said:Hi Vicki
Glad to hear it went so well for you.... I love the idea of no drains but was told I will have them when my expanders are taken out.... I wonder why some do and some don't?
Anyway, rest up and take care...
Best,
Dot
Keep healing. I saw on another post that you live near Yorba Linda. So does my brother!! I'm in north San Diego County. When you're feeling like company, I'll drive up and we'll have lunch or something.
Can't wait!!

awesome news that everything has gone well except the bump in the road with the blood pressure.
