That's the way to do it! I did the same thing when I was going through chemo. It feels empowering and lets you be in control! One great tip I got from this board is to use a lint roller on the stubble when it does start to fall out. It became my new "hairbrush"! It helps to keep the little buggers from getting all over you, clothes, bed, sink...
