I printed and framed a very old quote along these same lines. I keep it in my office to remind me that how I face the day determines what kind of day I face:
"It is the mind that maketh good or ill, that maketh wretch or happy, rich or poor."
Sir Edmund Spenser (1552-1599)

The Bible verse below goes with the tree my husband planted for me. So everyday when I look out at the tree(will grow to be big) I am reminded of where my confidence is and I will be ok.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 (New International Version)
7 "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
whose confidence is in him.
8 He will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit."
The "HEAT" in verse 8 represents the loss of my hair and the "year of drought" represents a year of Chemo. "Never fails to bear fruit" represents that I will continue to Praise Him through all this, regardless.
I just wanted to share how wonderful my husband is to this for me.
People say that attitude is everything and I truely believe it.
