A few quotes to ponder...

"Worry does not empty tomorrow of its troubles, it empties today of its strength"
"You can complain that rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice that thorn bushes have roses"
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away"
"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty"
"Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope"

Dear Laurissa,
These are good. Thanks for posting! I'm a worrier and I especially relate to the first one. I love the 'take our breath away' away too.
Thank you.
Laurissa, these are great quotes! I am always the one that says my cup is half full, not
half empty. Heck, I just say I am glad I have a cup! LOL
I think we have to choose to look at the bright side of everything, even when facing a
hardship.
It has gotten me thru my bc to where I am loving life and very, very happy! -

I am sitting watching the sunrise as I read your post...
It takes my breath away....
Live well, laugh often, love passionately...
Living life is not only rejoicing in the sunshine, but also dancing in the rain!
Hugs, Kathi
Thanks for posting these Laurissa. I am so grateful just for the small things in life, whatever it might be!
Hope you are doing well.

I came across a Buddhist
I came across a Buddhist quotation today which reminded me so much of the candle ceremony Traci so lovingly initiated for us on Wednesday night:
"Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of that one candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared."
Thanks for posting quotes, Laurissa~wouldn't it be wonderful to have such poignant original thoughts? I admire those deep-thinkers so much!

Three of my favorites
"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear."
"Your current safe boundaries were once unknown frontiers."
"We are like tea bags - we don't know our own strength until we're in hot water" -

I, too, loved your quotes....jcs313 said:Quotations
Laurissa: I always love to hear new quotations. Two of my favorites are:
Never place a period where God has placed a comma.
Don't give up five minutes from the miracle.
Especially the one with the period and the comma...
Thanks, it will be my new mantra!!
Hugs, Kathi -
