I received a caring bridge update from Pat's wife Carrier that Patrick lost his battle this morning at 6:30 a.m.

    I am so sorry to hear this. Patrick put up a huge fight against his cancer with Carrie by his side. My sincere condolences go to all of Patrick's loved ones.

    This is truly sad. I had a sick feeling when I read about this. Looking back to January they told him maybe less than a year. Things can sure go bad fast. I sure hate this.

    I just read the caringbridge site post by Carrie telling of this sad news.
    I know this is part of being on a cancer support board, but it sure is hard when we lose someone.
    Carrie, my heart aches for you- I'm so sorry.

    Thank you for the update, I am very sad. He fought hard; this is hard to hear. He is happy and pain free now, but Carrie's tough journey continues. I pray for comfort and strength now and in the days ahead.
