Life goes on.....
I am having a terrible time with the Arimidex (uhgggg...whole different story I do not have time for tonight that you have been spared from!), but other than that I am getting on with life! I miss talking to everyone, now that I am back to work.
As promised, even though I have forgotten to whom, I am "checking" in (LOL)....
I think it was suppose to be a rule or something?
Hope all of you are excepting that you are exactly where you are suppose to be at this particular time in your life! Shoulders back, chin up, Stand tall and march on......those of us ahead know you can do it, those next to you are holding your hand, and those behind you are looking towards your strength!!
Hugs and smiles.....♥Pammy

Pammy!!!!! I was just
Pammy!!!!! I was just thinking about you!! Sorry about the Arimidex; of course I was hoping you would skate by with no adverse side-effects. :-(
At any rate, thanks for checking in; I miss you and your ever upbeat in the face of adversity postings, though of course I am happy that Life After Cancer is filling your days.
As it should....
Hugs,

Pammy!
So good to hear from you, but sorry that you're having problems with Arimidex. I hope you are able to get that resolved and keep on keeping on.
I, for one, am very glad to have found this particular place to come for comfort, sharing, information, and support, and you have been a great part of that - Thank you!
Hope work isn't stressing you out too much, and that you are finding time to take good care of yourself.
Hugs,

(big squeeze!).....I will have to host a pajama party or something and have an all nighter to catch up with everyone!! I really do miss talking with you!
Work is very, very, very, very, (did I say "very"?) busy!!!
Hubby is worried it is too much for me and would prefer I pursue other avenues (preferably working from home in some capacity).
My Son is moving and I am getting my home office back (scored his 23" monitor too!! That means HUGE screen for chatting!)
I will check in again! You sound wonderful and cheery as always!!

Awe.....(hanging head shly, intertwinning arms and swaying side to side)....so glad I was a part of that! I miss talking to you too!
I have a saying....90% of what happens to you is out of your control. How you deal with that 90% is what you DO have control over. Therefore, stress? What stress? LOL....

Pammy, it is soooooo good to
Pammy, it is soooooo good to hear from you. I was thinking about you the other day wondering how you were doing. We also haven't heard from VickiSam in quite a while. I am also taking Arimidex and not having any problems with it but remember reading or being told by my onc that if I did experience side effects that they could subside within 6 months. I sure do hope this is the case with you. If not, I'm certain they can try another drug. Good luck to you and please continue to "check-in". We do truly miss you!!0 -
Isn't life grand??????
Especially when you had to work so hard for it!!!!
I'm dancing for you, gal!!!!
(Just booked a cruise in the Mediterranean (spelling?) for 4 days after we arrive in The Netherlands. Also going to Germany, the wine country, for my birthday...I'm LOVIN life!!!)
Thanks for the update! I am in my last year of Tamoxifen...no sides...could you switch?

I have missed my ice
Pammy
I have missed my ice cream for every occasion buddy. Sorry about the arimidex issues. It's good to hear you are back at work but don't let it overwhelm you. I have only been here occasionally. So much going on. I will post later on that. Glad you are here and updating us. I always worry that something awful must have happened when we don't hear from our ladies. And what is really happening most of the time, is that life is calling them and things while maybe not "normal" are swinging back to life before cancer and that is good. And then there is "facebook". LOL Know you are loved and missed.

Hey, Pammy. I have been wondering where you were, and so glad to hear that you are getting on with life. Busy is as busy does.....an old saying I used to hear from my Grandmother. I think you are certainly taking that phrase and running with it. So glad to hear from you. As Stef says, I miss the ice cream "parties" we all had, but know that you are still included in my thoughts each time I take a bit of my favorite flavor. As for you, Kathi, what a wonderful thing you do to include us all in your travels. Makes me want to get out there and "go somewhere" each time you post about the places you are visiting, and the exciting times you are experiencing. An inspiration, indeed. Hugs to all who read this post, and especially to all of the oldies here....I miss hearing from all of you. Hugs, Judy0 -

It is nice to hear from you. We very much miss you here and I am glad are are checking in. I have been wondering how are you doing. Sorry for your troubles with Arimidex. I am probably facing in similar situation soon: have to switch from Tamoxifen to Arimidex and make a decision weather to have Lupron shots or ovary removal. I fell pretty nervous about side effects of Arimidaex and another surgery.
Wishing you the best,

Oh my, New Flower! Don't let my experience stop you from doing what is best for you. I have talked with women that had NO problems and women that have ALL the side effects! We just don't know until we give it a try. Hope what ever you decide works well for you!! ♥Pammy0 -

Oo, ooh, ooh.....take me! I will be happy to carry your suitecases, polish your shoes or pour the wine!! (ok....if I didn't DRINK all the wine, I would be happy to pour it for you!)....LOL
I had only hot flashes on the Tamoxifen, but she switched me after they removed my ovaries. Going to ask her what the percentage difference is when I go see her.

Sounds like a perfect day for ice-cream! Let's all have some! Even if for no reason (as she blows kisses to the great ice-cream inventor!!). I'm wondering if I am too busy. I like busy because it occupies my mind, but I think my body is telling me I am overdoing it. May need to make some tough descisons in the next couple days if I am going to continue working....or not. So good to hear from you too!! ♥Pammy0 -
