My Mom has left this world

Just wanted to let you all know that my mom took her last breath at 11:30 am yesterday morning with my dad and all of her kids by her side and then went to be with Jesus. She died peacefully after being diagnosed with Stage IV CC in late June of ’09.

I don’t tell of this news to discourage anyone here – but to THANK YOU all for all the great attention you gave to my various posts throughout the months with questions about my mom’s situation while she was still on chemo. This is a great support for people going through treatment and their caregivers. It was SUCH a privilege being able to help my dad take care of my mom during her last days.

    I'm so sorry for your loss but it blesses me to know that your mother is now with her precious Savior and you'll see her again in heaven.

    I'm so sorry Kelly - I've missed seeing you around, and now I understand why. I am glad that you and family were around her, that is something of a comfort to not pass from this world alone, if there is a chance to gather.

    You've been very supportive to me and so many others here on the board. Thank you so much for your update. My sincerest condolences to you and your family during your time of grief.

    I am sure it was comforting for her to have all of you with her at the last even if she did not seem to be aware of your presence.

    Thank you all SO MUCH for your kind words and condolences. My mom lived a great 62 years and I was privileged to know & love her for all 27 years of my life. She even got to meet my first baby, although she will miss meeting my 2nd, which I am due to have in September.

    Through it all, we were amazed by God's faithfulness to my mom and the grace that He is giving us now.
