Penny,
My prayers and good
Penny,
My prayers and good thoughts will be with you for both these surgeries. It doesn't really matter what the surgery is, big or small, it's still scary and still all part of this disease. And as one of our ladies said so well, it's not a competition. I used to feel that I shouldn't complain because my tumor was 1 cm, no nodes, no chemo, only radiation and arimidex and a lumpectomy. No complications etc. But then I thought, wait, it was surgery, it was cancer, it was radiation. So no matter how much or how little treatment is involved, we are here with prayers and good thoughts and reassurances.
So go into this knowing we all care and all will be in those rooms with you, crowding in to hold your hand and stroke you brow.

I will be praying for very successful surgeries, and a quick and easy recovery for you next week.
I couldn't say it any better than Stef did, so I'll just say that I'll be there with you too, helping you make it through to the finish line.
Please keep us posted on how you're doing.
Hugs,

no problem is too small
and any surgery is something you will worry about. I never talked about my issues with my reconstruction surgery, figuring this one I brought on myself, but I kept getting told (Susan) that it is not my fault and to stop beating myself up about it. It all matters.
So, be anxious, but also know that you will have a whole group of people in there with you during your surgery and all of the prayers and good thoughts that come with us.
Let us know how it goes.

Cat, I'd have thought being the baby of the family, you got all the beatings you needed! Seriously, I'm glad you listened to our wise Christmas Girl, Susan, and that you are feeling better. -

I agree with what has been said. No surgery is small or unimportant. They are all important, scary and we need prayers from our friends and family.
I am sending you lots of prayers and lots of strength to help you!
Good luck!

thank you so much. I have endured so much pain in my bum for months now it has ruled my life and the main reason chemo was so rough. I have been able to manage it after botox shots but am really frightend because pain down there is a different animal. but the surgery must be done to move on. The expander has to be removed so why not do it in one shot. so to speak. knowing you are sending good vibes helps you area special group. -
