Poor thing! Now put away that cookie box and get something good for the digestion -- like ginger tea, no sugar. Feel better!

I meant to go clean the bathroom after posting. Now I just want to lay down. Think that is a good enough excuse to not clean?0 -

excuse is good to avoid cleaning!! Sorry you're feeling bad (I won't even tell you how many calories/grams of fat were in that sleeve of Thin Mints!)

PS - they're even better if frozen!0 -

The only good thing is our scale needs a battery so can't weigh. Maybe I'll never get one.
There is less than 1 gram of fiber in 4 cookies so I figure I got at least 1 gram of fiber anyway.0 -
I love the way you look on the bright side!
No cleaning, plus you got some fiber in!
Those cookies are sooooo good, now I want some, but I'll take tip from you and try to limit it!
Feel better,

Agreed, Barb... boy are they just awesome when frozen. I want some NOW! My regular girl never came around this year, either that or I was passed out on the couch when she did I'll have to hunt them down. Glad you decided not to clean your bathroom. Dirt is very disciplined... it waits for ya! Funny, I need a battery for my scale too but I keep forgetting to take it out to match it... how convenient!0 -

Way to Go! That's the only way to eat them...who can eat just a couple? We only get them once a year, no point in saving them. My favs are the shortbread with the chocolate on top. They used to come in 4 bags and you could eat one bag of six and not feel so bad, then when you got the second bag a short while later it was ok. hahahaha Now they come in only two bags so we get cookie guilt.
I don't know anyone selling them this year so I'm going to have to go to the malls to see if anygroup is set up and selling them. :-(
lol, Judy :-)0 -

I just love thin mints and they must be good for you because they are thin. LOL I have always bought lots of boxes to support the girls and to freeze so I will have them for the rest of the year. Like that happens, they are gone in, well let's say that they are gone in an embarrassingly short time. Our Girl Scout sales start in March so my plan this year is to buy only one box but to donate to the girls the same amount of money I usually spend on this cookies. That way I can only do minimal damage to myself while still supporting the girls. In our area, there are always girls outside the supermarket and the post office (that was the best selling spot on a Friday afternoon when my girl was a girl scout). I can't wait until March to get my cookie fix. They are really good frozen and with vanilla ice cream. Yummy. One box, Stef, one box, Stef, one box. Must be strong. Oh, this is going to be difficult.

Well if you guys want to hear something really funny...
I tried hiding them from myself but my sister called on the phone and said she was baking cookies and I said, "Oh I've got cookies too." and my subconscious told where they were. So I was talking to her and eating and looking at the message board and then hung up and posted a little and my subconscious forgot to tell me to stop.
When you aren't hungry do you ever tell your family to fix their own dinner?0 -

Yes, I tell my husband and grown son that (but he just moved out 2 weeks ago to his own place). And I don't worry about them. Only been doing that since bc though. Good excuse!

Marcia, I'm laughing at your
Marcia, I'm laughing at your post. But, I have to go now to track down my girl scout whom I ordered 6 boxes of Thin Mint cookies from. I'll also have a stomach ache too, if I find her, because I always have good intentions on eating just a few and end up eating the entire sleeve. Towards the end of the sleeve my mind does tell me to STOP but I figure there's only a couple left, so I finish it. LOL!!!!0 -

I guess we should
MyTurnNow,
I guess we should be grateful they put them in sleeves otherwise I would eat the whole box. Maybe they need more sleeves. Like 4 cookies in a sleeve. Oh, maybe if I put them in baggies with just 4 in a bag. Yeah, like that would work. LOL

Stef, I LOVE the idea of more sleeves. That might just help. I'm off to draft a letter to the Girl Scouts. LOL!!0 -
WOW....I forgot all about GS
WOW....I forgot all about GS cookies! I haven't seen anyone selling them in front of the markets this year. Reggie likes the Samoas. I can do without all of them. Once in a blue moon do I get a hankering for something sweet; seeet-tooth is just not in my gene-pool. We usually buy them to support the GS, and then I give the boxes away. Saves the tempation to the people here at the house who might otherwise be tempted!
It seems though, Marcia, you ate enough cookies for all of us! I agree with MiMi; drink some ginger tea and relax your poor self! LOL
Hugs,
Chen♥0 -
When I was in high school
I actually ate a whole bag of mini peanut butter cups in one sitting-don't know why I did that,a little greedy I guess! Anyways, after that I couldn't even look at a wrapper for them for a long time without having unpleasant memories!!0 -
