It's snowing here, too. Just put another log on the fire. Our ski hill opened yesterday, and more flakes are floating down as I type. Not a blizzard, just a beautiful white Christmas. You East Coasters...sending prayers for you to stay safe and warm. xoxoxoxo Lynn0 -

They are only calling for 2 inches of snow in central Maine and none in the mountains. Southern areas are going to get hit big time from what I have heard and what has been written here on the board.
Hope no one loses power.
Stay warm.

I would love to have some snow, but, not that much. Hubby has the fireplace burning bright along with our Christmas tree glowing. It feels like Christmas!
Be careful all of you with the heavy snow!

We got about 9 inches last nite and are suppose to have up to 6 more tonight. Talk about a white Christmas! Anyone want me to bottle it up and send it to you? Be glad to share.
Hugs
Jadie<3</p>
are you, Jadie, if I may ask? I'm headed to Nashville, then Cookeville on Tuesday - hoping not to get buried in snow. But the grandkids will love it.

I am in far east Tennessee close to the North Carolina boarder. I think Nashville and Cookeville have only 1-2 inches. We are suppose to get more snow Thursday and Friday.Hope you have a wonderful trip.

Yikes is right, Meena!
Holy cow... I don't remember the last time I saw so much snow, if ever! A friend came over and plowed my driveway and shoveled my walkway. I shoveled my steps and walkway twice since then and you'd never know it. I finally gave up so I'm guessing I will be snowed in when morning comes! I never thought about the power, Margo, as I don't believe that's ever happened in Jersey, lol, at least not in my lifetime.
I wrapped presents all day and watched movies on Lifetime and now I'm ready to PASS OUT!
At least there's probably no doubt we'll have a white Christmas, but they are predicting 45 and rain for Christmas day0 -

For those of you who have wells--fill up a tub with water before you lose power so at least you can use that water for flushing your toilets. I do this before every big snow storm--better to be prepared.

Very weird weather. I'm in Syracuse, and we receive the most snow of any city in the US (beat Buffalo by about 2 inches a year). We received about 2 inches of snow, so we were out and about all day yesterday. It doesn't look like we will even have a white Christmas! And, this year we made a record for the most days without snow, from mid-February to early December.

We are blanketed!
19 inches in the DC area! The whole city is shut down including airports, museums, grocery stores, restaurants, malls, you name it. We couldn't get out of our driveway yesterday. Last night we walked to the only open pub in our neighborhood, a greasy dive where just about everyone in the area had gathered. Today, we're supposed to drive to Michigan, but we're not even sure the rental car agency is open so we can pick up our car and go! Wish us luck braving the elements today! I wish you all a white Christmas!
