Feeling down

You have right
To feel frustrated sometimes. Even when you have the most positive attitude on this whole thing, sometimes things come up that make you want to throw up your hands and scream. I had that same feeling with the no hair thing the other day. I took me almost 20 mins to tie my damn scarf over my head just to go out to dinner...just couldn't get it right and I wanted to cry.Same thought went through my head, sick of the no hair thing. And the appetite thing...OMG, all I want to do is eat, even when I have no taste buds!! So I'm with ya girl, it's OK. Have these feelings and let them go, remember you are stronger the most people you come in contact with, your fighting something hopefully they never have to encounter. You have so much strengh, it's ok to lose it sometimes, you're only human. Hang in there!0 -

...and then my dog, my yellow lab who is getting older before my eyes, comes over to the computer, puts his head on my leg, wags his tail, and asks me to give him some love. He doesn't care how I look. He loves me the way I am and will to his dying day. No hair loss, funny smell, bloated body and face affect his loyalty to me. God's gift.0 -

I hope that you are feeling better with each day. Don't beat yourself up so much. We ALL have those kind of days. It comes with having bc unfortunately!

How did the game go? I love hockey games, live in alaska and we have them all the time, usualy go to anchorage to watch them, ACES games are the best. What a good way to get out a rut, nothing worse than feeling ugly. Taking your son must of been a fun thing, he must of been blessed! Speaking of Hockey, havent' been to a game since I got BC, hmmmmm perhaps thats what I need to, great idea. Anyway I am hoping your doing better, sure you are, those days just come and go, thank God they do go. No hair is no hair, my kids tried to talk me into getting a tattoo on the back of my head, if its wasn't so sore I probably would of. Anyway hope you had a great time at the game and a sweet sleep later on. You deserve it.0 -
Hey Sam,it's okay to be
Hey Sam,it's okay to be down
This whole mess sux. I have had crying from time to time, usually alone. I have had to stop chemo, as I am allergic to taxotere, the only thing that would shrink my ibc so I can have the mastectomy. My hair too is gone, but it will come back, probably white or gray but at least it will come back.
I have also had to wait to see if I needed bypass surgery, more crying, but tests yesterday showed no blockages, so hoping medicines will strengthen my heart to allow me to breathe! (seems rather important)
My mastectomy will be in a week or two, I find out the date this week. This will surely bring on more tears, but the cancer must go!
re; weight, I had lost 47 pounds prior to diagnose, now I am up and down, but mostly up to 9 now. Remember you can take the weight off after all of this is done.
Remember too that you are beautiful no matter what!
