I can't express all the emotions running through my mind! I did cry like a baby!
A special thanks to this board and all it's members. You all have gotten me where I am today. I still have to get through chemo, but.......... So appt with onc is Monday 11/16. I guess I get the "cocktail" list & schedule then.
To all those behind me in this fight ~ YOU CAN DO THIS!
To all those ahead of me ~ Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, kinds words, & wisdom.
And btw ~ My Gen Surgeon is my newest bestest friend!!!!

I was so excited, I didn't even really care that the other drain wasn't coming out today!
So......Am I now considered "A Survivor"???? even though I still need to go through the whole chemo thing????

You go girl .. Survivor .. we are all suvivors .. I guess what I saying is that once chemo treatments have been completed .. need to kill those pesty little chemo cells hanging out in our body ... Your onc will tell you .. at some point in time that is 'no evidence of diease ..or as we like to say NED ..

Thanks, yes we are all survivors. Ok, I guess with the good news today...I can wait my turn at dancing with 'NED'.

Sherri, thank you for sharing your news. Glad to hear no node involvement. We're dancing for you as you will probably be dancing when you're healed up from the surgery. Give youself time to heal and take care of yourself. An Answer to prayer on your behalf. Love! -

Sherria, I'm so happy for you!! Great news!! The chemo is not a picnic but definately doable. I've completed that portion and am on my 5th radiation treatment. You probably won't have to do Rads, so you are coming down the home stretch. Good luck!! We'll all be here every step of the way with you. -
