Not only did I DO the Lance Armstrong 10K today~ I was the 2nd place WINNER of top fundraisers!!!
Maybe you are not surprised ( I am!) but I know you are whooop whoooping happy for both of us!! She was wearing a bike shirt with a mega Pink Ribbon, and had the tell-tale short curly hair and she did a 30 MILE bike ride today! She is a stage 3a with node involvement! So everyone, take heart! WE CAN,AND OBVIOUSLY DO, TRIUMPH!!!!!!!
I didn't like how the T-shirt I ordered fit...and as it was 102 degrees out here today ((ugh) I wore another one, which I hope meets with your approval! It too has a pink ribbon on the front and it is surrounding a woman, and the caption says, She Who Survived!
I didn't get the chance to write your names on the back of my shirt, so I visualized and chanted ALL of your names, and in between that I chanted CSN-CSN-CSN.
My daughter-niece is still at the venue...she has been volunteering her time and love to work WITHOUT PAY in the kitchen of the restaurant hosting the event. She has been there since 8 this morning, bless her heart.
So, did I do you all proud????? I hope so! oh~ I won an hour massage, and dinner for 4 at a local gournmet restaurant!!! whoooooo hoooooo!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all of your well-wishes...I did it for all of us!!!
I love you all!
Hugs,
Chen♥

So Excited and Happy for you, our Champion
Claudia! How wonderful! I so wish I had been there to cheer you on and hug you at the end.
YES, you always make us proud. Thank you for being our warrior, and also for letting us know the 10K results. As a person staged 3A w/ nodes, I am encouraged by Mega Pink Ribbon Biker.
Congratulations. Enjoy that well-earned massage, and the gourmet dinner. (As I recall, you do have a sophisticated palate.)0 -

I am amazed by you and your 2nd place finish
Way to go Chen!!! The training, time and perseverance to finish this race is astonishing to say the very least. Coming in 2nd in time and $$ raised is a great accomplishment to you as a breast cancer survivor and 50 FT WOMAN. I am sure NED was there by your side whispering ... you can do this CHEN!
I am in awe of you and all that you achieved.
Enjoy the massage and gournmet restaurant for 4.
Way to go, I am so PROUD of you.

How does the song go from "My Fair Lady?"
You did it, you did it. By golly you did it...
As Pammy said, "You do us proud!" I second that one.
Now, not my hubby, but my Emmy is wating for me to take her out for a walk (as promised nearly 30 minutes ago). She is waiting "patiently" in the bay window staring at me with her milky brown eyes...
I best go .
