Annual Mammogram...

It's my second(after being dx)mammogram on Monday, and once again-I'm a little nervous.Last time they found cysts in my right(unaffected breast)breast and called me back for more x-rays while I was waiting(doctor was unsure of what they were and wanted to make sure)-freaked me out a little!
I'm trying to think positive-but reality says that the possibility of bad news is there too...
Would you guys mind praying for me?Thanks in advance! I'll keep you posted when I can.
I know that all my bc sisters face this also and that I'm not the only one-so I feel kind of funny bringing it up,but here I am.And my half sister has her mammogram on Monday also-she has more of a reason to be nervous with 2 half sisters of her's having had breast cancer already!
Thanks guys!

    Sweetheart,
where else WOULD you bring it up?
We don't do 'worsest and bestest' situations here.
We take 'em all and bathe 'em in prayer and hope and positive thoughts and good vibes and whatever other forces for the good we can marshal.
And we're all right there with you and your half sister and her half sisters and your cousins and friends and co-workers and whoever you pass on the street that may have been touched by this awful disease.
    God bless.

    I don't specifically
want prayers for one way or another-I know that it's in God's hands whatever way it goes. Just prayers for peace for both my sister and I.
    Thanks!

    That is exactly why...
I sign most of my posts 'God bless'.
I know (from experience) that no matter how the tests come out, or what the diagnosis is, or what treatment plan is developed, or what the prognosis is, or what the final outcome is, or whether we get what we want out of it or not, God can and will bless each of us in and through and beyond the realities we must face and deal with.
    God bless. :)

    I understand~
~I get anxious right before I go in too, and that is every 6 mo. Mine is coming up for Aug also, probably around the middle~I have a large calcification in the scar tissue of the healthy breast that I had a reduction on in 07. It is normal for them to form in scar tissue and not be cancerous. but still....
I will pray for your appt outdoorgirl!

you and your family will be in my prayers. You know we all need to be ready for that re-boobing ceremony, I know we missed the last date (7/29-Vegas), and will have to schedule again.
Don't ever feel funny about bringing any of your worries up here, that's what we're here for, silly girl.
Let us know how it goes for both of you!

    Hi Outdoorgirl. I just

Hi Outdoorgirl. I just wanted to let you know that I just said a special prayer for you and your family. I know how worrisome the annual mammogram post-bc can be: I was first diagnosed in 2000. My experience has been that I often had to have more x-rays done because they found something, so they wanted a better picture. The better picture then showed that all was well. But, it shows that the radiologist is being very careful, and is more likely to find a problem very early.

Long ago, I consciously gave control of my health to God, and it made a huge difference. I just have to remind myself every once in a while!
