A great big CONGRATULATIONS Diane! It feels so good to be done finally, doesn't it? I hope you are out celebrating big! You deserve it! You will heal up, just take care of yourself.

WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Done! A big congrats to you Diane! Huge accomplishment!!!!!!!! -
Yay Diane!!
Congratulations on finishing!!
LOL, my rad onc told me that I would heal in no time. When I saw him a couple of weeks ago, 6 months after finishing, I told him that it was still a bit tender in the radiated area. He grinned & said "oh, that will take a long time to heal". So I guess he was pulling my chain when he said it would be better in no time!
Hugs,

I love a good happy dance. Happy for you Diane and you will heal but don't be surprised if the redness, soreness whatever gets a little worse before it gets better. Keep using your lotion.

Ok, thank you Stef. I will keep using my lotion. -

Yea, Diane! You must be so relieved. And proud--I am only just now beginning to understand what an achievement it is to finish rads. Good for you! Now on to healing and moving on with your life.
Thanks Moopy! I do feel like I did achieve something! -

It might take awhile to heal, so, be patient. That is probably why your rads oncologist just smiled. Be patient! Just be glad you are done! -

This probably sounds weird, but, I feel kind of lost now. I was so use to the routine of getting zapped everyday, that I kind of miss it. I miss the people, the techs', knowing I was doing something to fight bc. Help?
