Yum! And healthy, too. I love veggies...RE said:Love my garden
Hi Jackie always good to see you! Okay lets see, we planted Big Boy Tomatoes and Early Girl tomatoes, Pablano peppers, Jalepeno peppers, red and green bell peppers, Cilantro, zukini, flower squash, round squash, cucumbers and melons. I love to make salsa from the tomatoes and peppers I grow then I can it for the winter. Much of my excess will go to my Daddy who is 77 and loves veges along with some of my neighbors. I also will be canning excess tomatoes and cucumbers. Here is a photo of a small portion of my garden.

... for December. Well, actually I can since we're still kinda waiting for summer to really kick in around here.
I will, certainly, be waiting for that package from you!
Kind regards, Susan
I have around 200 cymbidium orchids and epiphyllum (cactus orchid).

Hey Susan,Christmas Girl said:Warm welcome, jnl!
You found the perfect group, though sorry for the reason you're here. Yes, we wholeheartedly support and encourage each other all along the breast cancer journey. Yet, we do also enjoy the relief of fun!
I, too, am an avid gardener. I often refer to gardening as "holistic" therapy - good for the mind and the soul.
If you'd like, please feel free to start your own thread (topic of discussion) and introduce yourself to the entire group. You'll be welcomed that way by many, I can assure you.
Best wishes to you, Leeza.
Kind regards, Susan
P.S. TO JACKIE: Awesome idea for a thread! I can't wait to enjoy the bounties of your gardening efforts, come this December! :-)
Can I crash the party and enjoy some of that spaghetti sauce too come December? -

200?? that is amazing! I love orchids. Where do you live? and how do you keep them all healthy? I had a few in my patio for a couple of years, but when we had it redone, my brother put them outside in January, I didn't know he put them out there, and they died. I was so sad.. Also, what is a cactus orchid?
