Pity party
It helped me get over myself in a hurry. We can't let cancer take away our laughter even if it's a little dark!
Lots of hugs to all! And don't be afraid to have your own pity party!

Susan!!!! That's the spirit!!!
I know for a fact that the beast HATES laughter...it slunk away with it's tail between it's legs after trying 2 times with me!
Pity parties? Of course! I remember rolling up in a ball, and swearing NEVER to do ANOTHER infusion!!!!!!! And bawling!!!
What a GREAT way to dispell the gloom! I am going to remember your idea forever!
Hugs, Kathi0 -
I think that was the most imaginative way to get over the hurdle! I'm so proud of you and I'm going to pass on the story! You Go Girl!

Dear Susabella---What a clever, funny and heartfelt way of expunging "the Beast". You treated the reality of where you were and spinned it into a hilarious self-deprecating and "I am going to get this devil" kinda time. I wish I coulda come, lol. And not that long ago you were wondering how we all stay hopeful!
Now you know.
By having friends like you in here, who teach us how to stay in the moment with humour and keep us laughing right along with you. Thank You!
(((((((hugs)))))) and Laughter, Kathy
P.S. I am so dense, it wasn't til I read it the 2nd time, that I got the "BOOBIE" prize. Which made me love it even more, lmao. Damn Funny, Girl0 -
Thanks so much for all your support! I'm counting down to the big M day, M for Monday, 11/6 and M for mastectomy. What else can M be for? Magnificence! Mighty! Mellow! Marvelous! All things that mastectomies can't take from us, right?
Ladies, you are all awesome and strong and Marvelous! Happy Halloween and let's keep chasing away the Monster! lol
Hugs to all,
