I am very sorry for your loss. I just lost my brother to esophegeal cancer. I too have cancer. Its primary liver cancer. Just look to the Lord for strenth and guidance. He will never let you down. Its hard losing someone you love, but you just have to cry, scream, and shout and then you pull yourself together and go on with your life. That is what your boyfriend would have wanted. But most importantly, pray to God for he will see you thru. In Gods Love... Barbara0

Terri...
I feel your pain as
Terri...
I feel your pain as my husband passed away in January of liver cancer. He was diagnosed in July and passed 6 months later. It is very difficult to deal with a death especially of someone you love with all your heart. The one thing that gets me out of bed each morning is the fact that I told my husband before he passed that I would go on living for the sake of our kids. Our children are all grown and most of them are married. I'm not saying it is easy to go on but we really haven't got a choice. Family is a good support so if you have any family members you are close to lean on them. It helps to talk to someone going through the same pain that you are. Your feeling the same emotions. I will keep you in my prayers.0 -

My husband is also liver cancer and on Nexavar treatment.
Did your husband get any treatment? If so which one?
How was his progression after starting treatment?
Thank you0 -

So sorry to hear that. My boyfriend had colon cancer that spread to his liver but is currently in remission.
I'll be thinking of you.
Take care,
Jo
It would be helpful to know from those that have had success in treating the liver cancer what the treatment is/was.
Thanks and God Bless0 -

So sorry for both you and your husband. My husband was on Nexavar, but had to come off because his Platelets dropped dangerously low..other than that he tolerated it pretty well. How is your husband doing now? I wish you all the best.0 -

I am sorry for you loss Terri, Penny and nanonano88. Liver cancer is a horrible thing.
My dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Liver Cancer in April 2011 and passed August 12, 2011 at the age of 57. His cancer had spread to his bones badly and he had a tumor on his shoulder the size of your fist. He tried Nexavar for a total of 62 days (I kept a Journal of EVERYTHING) and it did not help him at all. Dad actually only had about 1 or 2 good weeks out of his 4 month battle. He was extremely weak and unable to move around. He never once complained or asked why. He was my hero and an extremely strong man. He will always be in my heart and my #1 buddy.0
