I was also diagnosed with stage 4 nasopharyngeal in October 2002. I had some minor high end hearing loss in one ear as a result of the radiation. My other ear gave me no trouble until recently when it became clogged and began leaking fluid. This fluid is cerebrospinal fluid, and since I have not had any head injury, it seems like the IMRT radiation I received in 2003 may have caused the insult to my dura. A cerebrospinal fluid leak can put you at risk for meningitis, which would result in fevers and stiffness in the neck. This may be something explore with your husband's health care provider. Good luck.0
