Hello everyone,
I am looking for chemo patients who have used the anti-nausea drug by the name of Emend. My husband will be starting his 4th round of chemo next week, and we are considering this drug. Nothing else has worked during the other rounds over the last 8 years. He will be taking Cisplatin, Adriamycin and Cytoxan for the 2nd time. His first experience with it was very debilitating as far as nausea symptoms, which lasted for about 10 days each dose. He never actually threw up, but felt deathly sick most of the time, even with the use of Zofran and Compazine.
If anyone has used this drug, please write to me abaout your experiences with it. My e-mail is: tonkyii@ bellsouth.net. My husband has had bladder cancer since 1991, but it is now in remission; he has had thymic carcinoma since 1996, and is constantly battling to try to keep it stabilized.
Thanks for you input.
