[Content removed by CSN Support Team.] Thoughts and prayersCheeseQueen57 said:Infection
So gals, I ended up with an infection through my nephrostomy tube but I think we caught it in time. Of course I'm in OCM so not the best place to be but oh well. Started experiencing fever, 103, oncologist told me to go to ER. That was Tuesday night. Cultures are not back yet so we don't really know what organism. Had a couple rough nights But I packed my bags sufficiently with my drugs, etc. But it amazes me how the screw with your meds when your in the hospital. I'm trying to not let that happen. Even though the pharmacist was in to talk to me. Not in any incredible amount of pain. But this certainly knocks me off of my well especially established routine. **** happens I guess. Thoughts and prayers appreciated.

I am so sorry! It seems likeCheeseQueen57 said:Update
Got home on Sunday. Totally wiped out. On IV antibiotics. Will see new urologist at Penn on Thursday. Hospital experience total horror. Will write more when I feel better. Appreciate thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry! It seems like if it wasn't for bad luck you'd have no luck at all. Here's hoping that bad luck changes into "good" REAL SOON!
Love,
Eldri

A change of plans
Well gals, just when you think things are going great, life knocks you on your ****. After a week in the hospital, 1 week of home IV antibiotics, multiple blood transfusions, a belly like a 9 month pregnant woman I finally decided enough is enough and got a CT scan which determined my disease has advanced. Needless to say, I'm heartbroken but not without hope. I will be starting a regimine of immunitherarapy on August 24. I'll keep you posted. Thanks, as always for your support.

Not what we were hoping to hear
Cheese, words are weak in times like these, but I love that you still have your gloves on and still ready to knock out the cancer. I have checked the site daily in hopes you would post as I know you said you would when better.
Please know you will have all my good thoughts going your way every day! "Strength grows in the moments when you think you cannot go on, but you go on anyway!"

Scared
Cheese, this is so scary to hear! You know we all love you to pieces here and just can't bear the thought of you going through all of this. I'm glad there is a new plan of action and really, really hope this is the one that finally works for you. You've been through so much already, so it's high time that you get an effective treatment that doesn't traumatize you further. Me and God are having a serious conversation about what's going one with you!

The news is devastating, but your fighting attitude is what will be the most important thing going forward. Plus being proactive. We are thinking of you, and hoping for some good news about the immunotherapy soon.

It doesn’t seem like
It's been over 4 years since we met you and cheered for your speedy recovery from surgery so you could make your trip to Italy. So much has happened since then and you are still hanging in there. What a tough lady. I have so much respect for you and wish you all the best.
