I don't mind wearing my beautiful scarves over my verrrrrrry short hair. Even the occasional wig. But after wearing a scarf for any length of time, it will start to make my head hurt and also bothers my ears. My daughter has said to me..."Mom, if you wear a scarf, people will see you and think....she has had chemo. If you…

Jacuzzi
Hi Everyone I read Jomama's memorial day post and I want to have fun this weekend and feel normal once again. So that said I have a question. Are hot tubs safe for BC patients? I asked my onc and she said it was o.k. as long as it wasn't the day of Chemo. But I'm still not sure. I would really like to use our hot tub this…

Hysterectomy
Has anyone here with HR+ made the decision to have a hysterectomy? I think i have made the decision to have one, and combine the surgery with my last reconstruction surgery (2 for 1), to hopefully reduce the chance of uterine/ovarian reoccurance, and also lower my estrogen. My onc supports this, and will switch me to an AI…

communication
We lived about three years in Kentucky years ago. We liked going to drive-in theaters because it was a good value. Since we were new to the area we stopped at a gas station and asked where the 'out door' was. That's what we called a drive-in theater. The attendant (this was when they came out to the car to pump your gas…
