Cancer/Chemo Theme song?

Okay, inspired by Airborne72, here is a hopefully lighthearted question.  If you were to choose a theme song for chemo or cancer, what would it be?

For chemo, I would choose "Love Stinks" by J. Geils Band, but with the word "love" changed to "chemo." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8vHjgViAeQ

    I think that we could have a number of original cancer songs given the various stages, people we deal with, treatments, clinical trials, financial headaches, etc. There are definitely enough people that could identify with the songs.

    I like that song that was popular last year, Fight Song. I can't remember the young woman that sings it, though. But it's not a humourous one.

    Yesterday DH played me what

    Yesterday DH played me what he says will be his Chemo Theme Song... "One" by Metallic. I am not going to lie, I was a little floored and must have shown it on my face. Rich immediately informed me he considered the "war" to be against cancer with the chemo, radiation, faith( whatever needed to fight) to be the " death" of the cancer. i felt more hopeful after he explained LOL. He also said this song got him pumped up and it rocked! The funny part is I can totally see him rocking this song  & really any song by leading a sing along at the cancer center! That's just how he is- wonderful with a little crazy mixed in!! This will make for fun reading.

    I often visualize

    I often visualize  chemo warriors and little radiation beams brandishing their weapons against cancer cells in a full-fledged battle, so I'd probably have to go with Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture complete with cannons, or the John William's Star Wars theme music. Needless to say, I'm old and not into  modern music (meaning anything more recent than the 1970s Laughing)

    Jimmy Buffet is an escapist - from the heaviness of life.  He has a way with lyrics.  This one has always made a point with me.  If we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane and another verse, if we weren't all crazy we would go insane.  Cancer truly is a burden and sometimes laughter is the best medicine.

    The only J.B. concert I attended was on the Murray State University campus in 1971.  It cost $3.  The times they sure are changing...opps, there I go again.  That was a Bob Dylan song.

    Tim McGraw had a very powerful and popular song in the late 90's that describe a friend's reaction to cancer diagnosis (Live Like You Were Dying).  The message is that we should live each day for that is all we have.

    "I was in my early forties
    With a lot of life before me

    I spent most of the next days
    Looking at the x-rays
    Talkin' 'bout the options
    And talkin' 'bout sweet time"

    He then shared with his friend what he intended to do with his life...

    And I gave forgiveness I'd been denying"

    I told you this is a powerful song.  For those of us who are cancer survivors, these truly have meaning.

    For the record, I have gone sky diving but those other events are still on my list.

    Need You Now

    Mine is "Need You Now" or (How May Times) by Plumb (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ylnx0NA9X4).  It's a Christian based song so just to let you know.  Another one is "Blessings" by Laura Story (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQan9L3yXjc).  Everytime these songs play I'm crying.  It just lets me know I'm not alone and there is someone higher that is watching out for me.  Those are my two "go to" songs.  It's great that there are songs or phrases for everyone.  It's great that we can relate in a different, but common way, to get through this ordeal.  May you all find your right song in life to make you relate to whatever moves you at the moment.

    Pet Scan Song

    Always cranked Radioactive Imagine Dragons is for PET scans (first part of lyrics below)  Was kind of fun (or whatnot).  Then I did some parodies of other songs in my head.  Thought of Lion and some of the music stuff he had posted.  One day I may record them.  Can do the music, but really not a singer :) Need to convince my old singer it is okay.  I am allowed to do it as a cancer patient.
