Sad news
This tuesday my mum passed away after fighting for 3 years with cancer. Unfortunately she suffered a lot in the last few months. She was an amazing women, mother, wife and grandmother. She spent so much time praying to God that eventhough she suffered from cancer but please do not let any more people suffer! I hope she is completely pain free and at peace now.
Thankyou all for being amazing friends helping us through this journey by providing valuable knowledge and support during the last 2 years.
I wish everyone the very best and hope you all win your fight against this terrible illness.

So sorry to hear this news.
So sorry to hear this news. It is so hard when a love one passes especially from a long battle. Yes, they are no hurting anymore but you miss them. May God hold you and the rest of the family in His arms to help you get through this difficult time. Praying for you and your family. trish

Oh Diya so sorry!
That is just such sad news and my heart hurts for you. There really is nothing anyone can say but do know that you will be in our thoughts and in our prayers as you move forward in your journey. Please take extra good care of yourself and remind yourself often that you both fought the good fight and you brought her great peace and comfort as you did what you could. She would want you to live your life and be healthy and happy! I'm glad you had this time and I hope it brings you a sense of peace as time goes on. Come back if you need any support. Thank you for letting us know (((HUGS)))

So sorry
As a mother of daughters, I know how invaluable they are in the long path that leads wherever it leads. At first i wanted to spare my daughters the worry, pain, sadness etc when i was first diagnosed. they wouldn't hear of it. Little did I know, they would sneak looks at my calendar to be aware of tests, appts etc. they refused to be left out. I am sograteful that they were as bull headed as their mom. Their support, help and love have meant more to me than anyone else's and I make sure to let them know...not often enough, but they know. I did the same for my mom though we were never close and I know it made a difference for me and for her... I have always been close to my girls, but now even more. So from all moms to their daughters we say thank you, even if we don't say it often enough, daughters make a great difference in our coping. Please take good care of yourself.

My thoughts are with you,
My thoughts are with you, Diya. I am so sorry to hear about your mom. My father passed away from liver cancer not long ago, and the pain was excruciating. My only solace is that he is now in a better place without pain and suffering. I am glad your mother's prayer life was consistent even in times of distress and suffering. I am sure she is at peace now.
Love and sympathies,
Rebecca
