I've just been dx with basal cell carcinoma on my forehead. My biopsy report said it was deep at margins. I was told I will need mohs surgery and plastic surgery to repair. im a little scared about the process. I'm scheduled for surgery in August. That's the soonest it could be coordinated with plastic surgery. Has anyone gone through this? |

Moh's
Moh's is the best for this type of skin cancer. Where do you live that you have to wait so long for the surgery? I am in California and go to the California Skin Institute, many offices in the San Mateo, San Jose, Monterey areas. Stanford also does a great job. It can be a long day depending on how many layers they have to do. My husband was lucky, only one layer, I was 3 layers. Heals well and you can hardly tell there was a surgery.
