I've just been dx with basal cell carcinoma on my forehead. My biopsy report said it was deep at margins. I was told I will need mohs surgery and plastic surgery to repair. im a little scared about the process. I'm scheduled for surgery in August. That's the soonest it could be coordinated with plastic surgery. Has anyone gone through this?

    Moh's

Moh's is the best for this type of skin cancer.  Where do you live that you have to wait so long for the surgery?  I am in California and go to the California Skin Institute, many offices in the San Mateo, San Jose, Monterey areas.  Stanford also does a great job.  It can be a long day depending on how many layers they have to do.  My husband was lucky, only one layer, I was 3 layers.  Heals well and you can hardly tell there was a surgery.
