Stanford specializes in the Minimally Invasive Ivor Lewis Esophagectomy (MIE) that was pioneered by Dr. James Luketich at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Thanks again for all of the information. MY family did see a surgeon who recommends surgery after 3 months of chemo and radiation. I wrote a complete update on teh surgical options post. I am feeling very comfortable witht eh surgeons onthe case, just need more answers as to thier chilce of procedures.
