Well........seems that our Indian Summer has arrived so guess......Back to the beach tomorrow! So it's nice to be alone with my wife and a few couples of friends there ,in the night some light coats and going to the country to have some typical Catalan or french food home made style while watching Barcelona FC vs Real Madrid! Probably the most important soccer match in the world! Toasting with an excellent Rioja or Rivera del Duero wine.
All this if diarrhoea allows! Heheheheh. Will drink to the health of all of you.
What about you Mates!

    Having a ball!
Yesterday I took my 4 year old neice to dinner, her first kiddy manicure/pedicure, and shopping at a bookstore. She got her fingernails and toenails painted pink with a green flower on her big toe. Wow she is so much like her Auntie!

I visited my 90 year old aunt who kept telling her daughter "if you are going to talk about me, speak up so that I can hear what you are saying". She is quick for her age. She can still drink a couple of glasses of Moscato and walk straight.

Today resting and reading the book The Healing. By the way has anyone started the new book by JK Rowlings? That dang book is 40 dollars on the shelf.

I am with my parents. They live on the coast. I do not, so I will be eating a lot of fresh seafood in the next couple of days.

Mom is doing well. She is still dealing with that dreaded neurapothy. I don't ever think it will ever go away.

My father is still bull headed. Like father like daughter in this case lol.

Happy Thanksgiving to the Canadians (feel free to send me a glass of icewine to share). What came first, the USA Thanksgiving or the Canadian one? What do you eat?

Well not going to work has caused me to write a book for my Friday post. I am soooooo happy to be with my family! The hubs is cool, but there is nothinggggggggg that can replace the Girl Power in my family.

I will cook a family meal on Sunday, eat, read and visit people the rest of the weekend.

Oh my god daughter has made it a requirement thar I go to a movie with her and out to dinner.
    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

    Music :-)
Looking forward to a concert tonight with this special young singer I already talked about: Jördis Tielsch. Listen at youtube to her version of "fields of gold" and you will understand what I mean. (at that video she is 13!!! Now 17 and even got better)

Hi Judy ,thanks for ur words , wedding was much funnier than
I thought , we left the place by 6 AM! ( just finished my 5 th round the day before! ) it was in a nice 18 th century palace with gorgeous gardens, but really difficult to get in there! lOL. ( had to go back to Barcelona twice and start again!). The question was that it was hidden behind a big SINCROTON, ( particles accelerator) in the University of BCN Campus! Can you imagine? LOL.
Well Judy get calmed for Monday and notice that will be praying for good results in my Sunday mass!.

I will be enjoying the cooler weather in NC. Thinking about heading to the mountains next weekend to be a "leafer". Since I got my clean scan news in Sept - I just set out to enjoy every minute like they are all weekends.

Thanksgiving Day in Canada and US
Someone asked about when Thanksgiving Day was started. Here is what Wikipedia says:
    -----------------
On Thursday, January 31, 1957, the Canadian Parliament proclaimed:
“ A Day of General Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed – to be observed on the 2nd Monday in October.

Thanksgiving Day, is a holiday celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday in November. It has officially been an annual tradition since 1863, when, during the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national day of "Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens," to be celebrated on Thursday, November 26.
    -----------------

So it looks like the United States started celebrating about 93 years before our Canadian friends.

Regardless, it is always good to remember that we each have things to be thankful for, no matter what our situation.

    Happy Turkey Day!

sounds like a lovely weekend Pepe
Hopefully I am doing nothing this weekend except dropping my wife off at the airport - she will be visiting friends and family (grandkids - yay) all this nest week and I will join her mid-week.
I am hoping to just relax and since I have no friends in the city we moved to in June, I will be all alone. Not sad, just alone. Okay maybe a little sad, I spend every day alone while my wife goes off to work and we go away nearly every weekend. I can't wait to get a job and settle again so we can make some friends.
But I am good really - have lots planned to take up the days.
