I get this a lot because I walk with a limp. No, I didn't sprain my ankle. Do you see a wrap or cast?! I'm so tired of having to answer this question after 20 years. People are compassionate but sometimes need to refrain from the obvious.

I use to say, "no, I walk with a limp," but their responses are so sad and then they walk gracefully away. Jeeze!! It ain't so bad.

NOW, I say, "I like to say that I Kicked Cancer's ****!" Now people respond with a smile, laugh and "Good for you!"

Such a better response than feeling sad for me. I'm loving' it!
