    Oh baby...
    It's hot, hot, hot here in Wisconsin with no end in sight at least until the weekend. Gosh hard to believe four months ago I was complaining about all the snow we are getting.

    Northern California weather
    I live in Northern California about 45 miles south of San Francisco. Unlike so much of the country, we have been having unusually COOL weather for the last week or so. Today it is expected to be about 77 degrees. It cools down to about 57 at night. Normally it would be in the mid to upper 80s during the day. :)

    Would love to head for northern CA
    It's expected to be in teh 90s here all week with the chance of severe storms that that brings. We just came home from a week in St. Louis and dealt witht he heat wave there. I need a break! I was never good with heat but it's worse since chemo and I discovered that I start to swell now too. Really need that cooler weather!

    Hot here
    Western SD (just east of the Black Hills on the prairie and it's HOT but not setting records yet. Yesterday it hit 99 and it's 98 now supposed to make it to the low 100's. It's supposed to be in the high 90's - low 100's for the next week+. Nowhere near as bad as it was when we lived in the northern Mojave (China Lake/Ridgecrest) where it would often be 100 at midnight. Supposed to have potential for severe T-storms this afternoon/night. Won't complain too much though as this year has been much below normal and damper over all and hasn't been nice at all for the gardens or haying.

    Hope it cools a bit before the Sturgis MotorCycle Rally starts nest month.

    edit added: I had sent Hubby to the store to get me some more ice and just as I hit 'post' he called me to tell me that the store had NO ice - they make and bag their own but the ice makers can't keep up with sales today so he's off to another store to try to find some for me.

    Looks like it will rain too. I love the rain. I want to dance in the rain like I used to when I was a child with no worries. :)

    90's here today and I think it will be part if not most of the week. But, then we have a cool front coming thru, I think. No, I HOPE! LOL

    74! Victoria, sounds wonderful!!!!!

    That's why Fall is my favorite time of the year. We don't feel the cool weather until end of October so technically, our Summer is from April - October.

    Even in CT
    It's hot, hot, hot! Of course not as bad as mid west! We may have 105 deg heat index Thursday & Friday this week. Staying cool in my central air.

    Houston - Hot, hot, hot, in the upper 90's, no appreciable rain since January. The worst draught in 70+ years. No crops to speak of this year, except in the Rio Grande valley where the fields are irrigated. No grass for ranch animals, they are sold off, or, Lord have mercy, die of thirst and starvation. The most sorrowful report I read is that wild animals leave their young to die or deliver still born, there is no food for them.
    Pray for rain, in the meantime, I think I visit Northern California?

    We are really melting here too. Today was the 19th straight day of 100+ temps with 36 days at or above 100 since May. It was 104 today and has been up to 106-107 and no real rain for months. Praying for rain here too. God Bless

    I'm in Central Florida and
    I'm in Central Florida and am quite accustomed to summer temps in the 90's. I love the sun and warm weather and if it gets too hot for me, I just sit in the air conditioning. Nothing like being in the pool when it's warm. I dont like snow and cold, never have so hot days are easier to take.

    Still really hot here today.

    It's a little over cast right now. Should clear up to high 70's. I am glad we are having a mild summer here in San Jose. I don't think I could manage the heat and hot flashes!
