It's terribly hot here and going to be all week - 90's and we're not used to this. Thank goodness our humidity is almost nothing.

Here in the Orlando area, it's hot and very humid. Being born and raised here in Florida, you would think I'd be used to it by now, but here I am - still complaining about it~ -

HOt Ewwww Hot
My husband and I were out driving tonight. I asked him to look at the temp guage that tells outside temp. It was 100 degrees. We went to the next town over. They had a sudden downpour and the temp was 85.Yes Midwest is getting hit bad with high temp.Seeing someone in CA has 74 temps is shocking. I thought they would have 100 degree temps.
We have our county fair coming up next week.Hope temps grop drastically for the people and the poor animals. At times animals have died during the fair. Some People stayed up all night keeping them cooled down but it didn't always work.

Looking at 100 or nearly so at least through next Monday heat index 108-115 daily. No rain in sight but still potential Missouri River flooding thanks to Army Corps of Engineers (sigh).

I'm in Lawrence, Sat. night, 8:30pm, and still 100 degrees!!! my grass is brittle, I hate to see my water bill just trying to keep the garden going (and shower at least twice a day!)
