Yep, that's Pink-Terminator.... I want to introduce my dear friend to all of my "Kindred Spirits", and Pink Sisters.... Pink Terminator had her first chemo treatment today... I helped her sign up for this sight and am hopeing that she feels comfortable (even though I know she is struggeling) with jumping on this board.... Would you help me welcome my friend... and maybe we can get her on here...and show herself... We all know how hard that first post is... how uncertain we were... how scared... I want to help ease that for her.. will you help me by shouting out with me...?

We really do "get it" when everyone else, even thoe most well-meaning and loving friends/family members don't. You have a great friend in ~T...and now your cyber family has grown!

    It hard to post that first time I think. I read and lurked for awhile before I felt comfortable jumping on in person so to speak. We will welcome here with open arms and more importantly open hearts. You are a dear friend to encourage her to join us here but then your are a dear friend to one and all.

    Welcome to the family, I hope your first chemo went well. I've only been on this board for a few months and I have learned so much from my fellow pink sisters. As you can see from my post numbers these girls keep me chatting... I can't wait to meet you, cheer for you, cry with you and celebrate with you.     Welcome, and I like that name! I too am new to this whole chemo/cancer thing. My first chemo was Monday this week. What kind of BC diagnosis do you have and what kind of treatment has the oncologist scheduled for you? I had a lumpectomy, my tumor was 2 cm. I had 6 surgeries total with lymph nodes removed and additional tissue excised. I am hormone negative Her2+ so my chemo cocktail includes Herceptin which I will continue to get for one year. I have to do 6 rounds of chemo - 3 weeks apart. I am also scheduled to get Radiation treatment after the chemo. Sounds kind of confusing, but they gave me a schedule. LOL! We are all in this together, and we are here to help each other on this journey. As some of the other pink sisters have so eloquently stated - We do what we must, so we can do what we want.


    You will find a great source of information and compassion at this site.

    Sorry you had to join us, but welcome. It is truly a safe place where we get it... AND my husband is so happy that I can go to the computer instead of waking him at 2:30 a.m. when the cancer boogies chase me.

    Welcome! This is a wonderful place to vent, cry, and get questions answered from people who have been there. Like Chen said, even our most beloved family members just don't understand sometimes.
    Read for a while and I'm sure that you will see how great all the warriors are.
