Way to Go!
Hi Karen -
I was registered for the Relay for Life opening ceremony in my town at the end of April. It was fun seeing the "ticker" climb with donations raised by the many teams, and I was able to contribute to several of them. I was really looking forward to the survivors' opening lap!
When the day came, I just couldn't summon the energy to do it. I'm in Texas. It was already very hot, and the park where the relay was held had no shade and a LONG track. My stamina is low, and I have avoided the sun for many months since being on Doxil. Wah, wah, wah.
In hindsight, I regret not "making" myself go for it. Congrats to you for participating!
Cheers!

to be out in a crowd of upbeat people who are fighting our fight. I used to go out to Christmas Hill for alot of different activities. I don't know if any of you have heard of the Gilroy Garlic Festival. That is where it takes place. I need to get out more. I sometimes feel like it almost takes an act of congress to get me out of the house but once I am, I don't want to go home. I do get tired but at least it is from doing something, not from just sitting around.
