ok pepe I know my profile on facebook was showing male, but come on. :-pp
Yes I've come out of hiding :-) will post about my situation maybe tomorrow or saturday. Not sure what the stall is about something to do with politics, no idea. lol
Just be going to yard sales. I go just about every weekend. I buy things people want to get rid of cheep then sale it on line. Seems to be working out good.
I am going shopping. I just got my toes and fingernails done in light blue with a big green shamrock on my big toe to celebrate saint Patrick's day. I am getting back to normal.
be heading to Nashville tomorrow to take my daughter for a followup at Vandy Childrens Hospital...nothing serious at all, just a followup for her....Then putting metal on my garage roof..Got all my slats up on it yesterday and today so tomorrow I should be finito' with it...then maybe...fish...:)
Not learning too much about Dali. I am more along the lines of engaging in retail therapy and connecting with the inner little girl.
PS The last times I have gotten pedicures, I have gotten hearts for valentines day, snowmen for christmas and flags for other holidays for other holidays on my big toe. I also had zebra stripes on them. It is soooooo fun to play with my nails! Lol
My husband and our 16 year old youngest son are going away for a 3 day weekend with Civil Air Patrol. Hubby will do the cooking (and teach a few classes) so I have to....
Get Nick a haircut. Pack pots and pans. SHOP for food for 20 plus people for 3 days, 3 meals a day and then..........
.....sleep in an empty house for the first time in my LIFE! I'll 60 years old and I've never been alone all night in my life!
The good news is, I had my CEA and CTC blood work a week ago today and it all came back 'stable since surgery'. Actually, my onc always says my CEA, etc. are "PERFECT! EXCELLENT!" so I'm pretty stoked about that! I have my yearly scan on March 18th and see the onc on March 25th.
I'll sit out in the sun and maybe do a little yard work. On Sunday I'll go to Sunday School and church. “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
i am spending the weekend with my father in law.he came up here to visit us before i start chemo.i have only met him once and it was at my wedding.my husband and i have been married for almost 5 years.him and his father are not close and for him to come to our wedding was a surprise.i am really glad he came here this weekend to get to know him better and for him and his son to get to know eachother better also....Godbless...johnnybegood
Wonderful news, Diane, about your CEA and CTC! It was what I expected.
Now, you surprise me... you truly have never spent a night alone?? That's hard to believe- you can do it!!
Glad to hear of good results. Read a good book, treat yourself to some good tea. Hope you enjoy your time alone. I know its hard, I missed my kids so much, it was right after my liver resection, I had been home for a month and their aunt paid their way to Miami, florida for her my niece's Quince party. I was so lonely. Well my husband was at work, most of the time. but I watched a good movie and made me some good tea and read, Eat, Pray, Love......Blessing Lourdes
Feeling much stronger - almost like normal since the resection. I do have a a hematoma around one of the incision sites so I am planning on sitting in the Colorado sun thinking of what to do with the garden this year. Family up on Sat for my husbands birthday.
my terraces this spring , still to wait a few weeks but i'm thinking what to plant!I'm feeling as good as I wouldn't had any chemo, thanks to your
help!.I'm glad you feel good as well!.
Thank for taking care of me this week Soccer!.
I really appreciate it!.
Taking my kids on Saturday to their 4H Rabbit show until their Dad can get there to take my place. (Ive been chemo'd recently). And on Sunday I get to visit with my brother from San Diego.
I really don't have any plans. Hubby and kids are going skiing Sunday- this is to make up for the day a few weeks ago that didn't work out (they went up, got stuck in traffic due to an accident, then came back home without ever skiing).
I'm really groggy feeling post chemo, so I may just do some relaxing. Sounds good to me!
My son had his 18th birthday yesterday, but we've already done the celebrating.
Weather is beautiful & it's supposed to continue through the weekend, so that always cheers me up :)
Unfortunately weather is not too beauty in the sunny Spain , last week I cut go to have first sunshines of the season to my house in the beach but
this weekend, here we are in the cloudy and sad winter again, hope next week will be better.
Enjoy the sun&calm.
Today the temps reached 70degrees and will continue through the weekend, so I hope to get some more gardening going. I've already planted lettuce, spinach and bok choy :)
Saturday morning we have to go out very early to have one daughter delivered downtown for the St Patrick's Day parade, then we're heading to a friend's house so I can provide a computer lesson and my husband can sell off some of his musical equipment. It's a sad day to have to let go of some of our stuff but with the bills mounting up we really can't afford to keep all our toys any longer.
Sunday I expect to be working on my paintings...I have three commissioned portraits in progress currently and have another waiting to begin. I'm also getting some crocheted items finished to sell at the renaissance fair we staff for three weekends in May. I am hoping chemo won't ruin those fun plans.
My daughter is coming for a visit and bringing my two granddaughters, ages 3 and 4. They are going with me to look at a Townhouse I'm considering and then out to lunch.
Lots of small stream flooding here in central PA but it looks as though the Sun might actaully come out today!
Hope you enjoy the weekend with daughter and granddaughters , hope the day gets better and helps you tu keep your strength !
Take care my friend , I remember you both!
Hugs!
Went grocery shopping today! Going to drop off some Relay flyers in a bit. Watching the ACC basketball tournament. Sorry for anyone who doesn't live in ACC country! *grins* Church and a big luncheon there tomorrow.
