One more to Go

Options
I just finished my 3rd taxol with neulasta and have only ONE more to go and I will be done with Chemo! Yaay... I have had such a hard time with the bone pain/nausea all throughout the last four months of chemo, that I am so looking forward to a break. I start rads the first week of April and am hoping that I will sail right through!

The people here on this board have been so supportive and caring that I feel truly blessed to have found it. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

"May you be at Peace; May you be free of Suffering."

    Dianne, I remember that day
Dianne, I remember that day well.....to finally be finished with chemo. I also did not have a hard time with rads.....just a little sunburn and very little fatigue. I hope your body is as fortunate. We'll be waiting for you with the flashlight as you come through the tunnell. Best of luck and keep us posted on your progress. Sending (((hugs))) to you.

Yeah--I hated that bone pain too
but--you are almost there--you can see that chemo finish line! What a relief that will be. Then, on to rads. I also did not have a bad time with rads. I thought going every single day would be a real pain--especially driving 25 miles each way. But it wasn't. It went by quickly and I met some fabulous people there. I did get the fatigue--I just paced myself and rested when I needed to. I did get a little sunburn at the end--but never any blistering or pain.

You'll sail through this as well. Sending positive energy.

    Hugs, Renee

    Last chemo
I well remember my last chemo. It felt so good to know I didn't have to do that anymore and I was so proud of myself for getting through it. For me, rads were very easy with only minimal redness and no fatigue at all, but I didn't want anymore when I got to the end.

Wishing you luck on your last chemo cycle and on to radiation. You can do it.

I am so happy that you are almost done and nearly out of the
dark chemo forest. We are here cheering you on as usual when
you reach this landmark in your treatment.

The day will come when you get to stand in the sidelines and
cheer those in the middle of the battle on.

My last 2 chemos were intertwined with rads. I was so tired could barely walk. Kept working though. Only part-time which is great. Def got me a sunburn. Just keep the fluids flowing and the creams smathered on. Sweet hugs to you,Katz

    Almost there!
So sorry you had to suffer through all the SE's but you are nearly finished now! I used to tell my little third graders to give themselves a pat on the back for a job well done so you do the same! :)

sorry to be welcoming you at this late date. I haven't been posting often. The wonderful women and men on this board have helped me so much in my journey. Glad you are almost done with chemo! I had 6 rounds and was fortunate not to have any nausea. Instead I gained weight from the steroids. I just finished rads this week and I didn't turn pink until the 24th treatment. Just slather the cream on and hopefully you'll get through it as well as I did.

I'm right there with Jean and the others ... you are closing in
on that finish line .. so close. Please rest when possible, hydrate and find the energy to finish chemo ... then we will induct you into the 'Chemo Queens' hall of fame.

    Job well done, Sister.

    Strength and Courage :D

oh yes, what a great time it is to finish chemo!
I remember my last chemo day........ such a great feeling to know that you are out of that tunnel. Rads were a breeze for me in comparison to chemo and I hope you will fly right through them and to a happy, new normal life with NED!!! Hugs and good luck
