Dianne, I remember that day
Dianne, I remember that day well.....to finally be finished with chemo. I also did not have a hard time with rads.....just a little sunburn and very little fatigue. I hope your body is as fortunate. We'll be waiting for you with the flashlight as you come through the tunnell. Best of luck and keep us posted on your progress. Sending (((hugs))) to you.0 -

but--you are almost there--you can see that chemo finish line! What a relief that will be. Then, on to rads. I also did not have a bad time with rads. I thought going every single day would be a real pain--especially driving 25 miles each way. But it wasn't. It went by quickly and I met some fabulous people there. I did get the fatigue--I just paced myself and rested when I needed to. I did get a little sunburn at the end--but never any blistering or pain.
You'll sail through this as well. Sending positive energy.

I well remember my last chemo. It felt so good to know I didn't have to do that anymore and I was so proud of myself for getting through it. For me, rads were very easy with only minimal redness and no fatigue at all, but I didn't want anymore when I got to the end.
Wishing you luck on your last chemo cycle and on to radiation. You can do it.

Yeah...almost done....you are right at the edge of the chemo tunnel...you can do it...we are all at the end in the light waiting for you! Rads will be so much easier than chemo...you will indeed slide right down that tube to the finale! Good luck and lots of hugs sent your way!0 -

YEAAAAAHHH!!
I am so happy that you are almost done and nearly out of the
dark chemo forest. We are here cheering you on as usual when
you reach this landmark in your treatment.
The day will come when you get to stand in the sidelines and
cheer those in the middle of the battle on.

My last 2 chemos were intertwined with rads. I was so tired could barely walk. Kept working though. Only part-time which is great. Def got me a sunburn. Just keep the fluids flowing and the creams smathered on. Sweet hugs to you,Katz0 -

Dianne
sorry to be welcoming you at this late date. I haven't been posting often. The wonderful women and men on this board have helped me so much in my journey. Glad you are almost done with chemo! I had 6 rounds and was fortunate not to have any nausea. Instead I gained weight from the steroids. I just finished rads this week and I didn't turn pink until the 24th treatment. Just slather the cream on and hopefully you'll get through it as well as I did.

I remember my last chemo day........ such a great feeling to know that you are out of that tunnel. Rads were a breeze for me in comparison to chemo and I hope you will fly right through them and to a happy, new normal life with NED!!! Hugs and good luck0 -
