I received a link from the Lung Cancer Alliance which takes you to a page where you can sign a petition to get the government to spend more money on lung cancer research. I am posting this link in hopes that everyone will sign this petition. http://www.lungcanceralliance.org/involved/sign_the_petition.php Thank you all, |

Thank you all for signing
I want to thank all of you who signed. Hoping that many more will read this and sign also.
I can't really take the thanks for this, if it weren't for Stayingcalm I may not have found this link. She posted about a group on Facebook which I joined and it was through "Wearing Pearls in November for Lung Cancer" that I became aware of the Lung Cancer Alliance and everything they are trying to do for Lung Cancer awareness.
I have been forwarding this link to all of my Facebook friends and everyone in my e-mail address book in hopes that we can get enough signatures to force the government to do something.
Thank you all again.
Stay well,

petition
Thanks to all Glenna, Deb, Dan, and catcon, I just signed myself. I had no idea the dollars for research and funding were in such disproportion.

For everyone on Facebook - if you could post this link to your Facebook wall it would be great, all of my friends signed the petition because I posted it. We need all of the signatures we can get.
Yes, it is sad how little funding lung cancer gets compared to the other types of cancer.
Again, thank you all for signing.
Stay well,

Petition
Hi,
My name is Elaine, AKA, ProfilRN0313. I just joined last night; I read the request to sign a petition, however there's no link! Can you send me one please? It's a wonderful idea!!!
Thanks so Much,

Sorry, you probably cannot get my email info.
It's: ProfilRN0313@yahoo.com
Sorry again; oh, I also requested to add you as a friend; I hope you don't mind. I accidently posted my "questions" for the group under my profile, not in a blog, lol. It was really late& had spent almost 1 hr speaking w/ someone from the ACS. Again, I'm sorry; not usually so absent minded. I guess the oncologist may be correct that my lung cancer may have spread to my brain also, lol.

Hi, Elaine
The link is in the first post, copy and paste it into your title bar. Or, use this link.
I would suggest (and CSN notes it on their front page) that you not post your email address where it's viewable to anyone with a search engine. Better to send via a private message instead :-)
