I received a link from the Lung Cancer Alliance which takes you to a page where you can sign a petition to get the government to spend more money on lung cancer research. I am posting this link in hopes that everyone will sign this petition.

    I want to thank all of you who signed. Hoping that many more will read this and sign also.

    I can't really take the thanks for this, if it weren't for Stayingcalm I may not have found this link. She posted about a group on Facebook which I joined and it was through "Wearing Pearls in November for Lung Cancer" that I became aware of the Lung Cancer Alliance and everything they are trying to do for Lung Cancer awareness.

    I have been forwarding this link to all of my Facebook friends and everyone in my e-mail address book in hopes that we can get enough signatures to force the government to do something.

    Thanks to all Glenna, Deb, Dan, and catcon, I just signed myself. I had no idea the dollars for research and funding were in such disproportion.

    Yes, it is sad how little funding lung cancer gets compared to the other types of cancer.

    Sorry again; oh, I also requested to add you as a friend; I hope you don't mind. I accidently posted my "questions" for the group under my profile, not in a blog, lol. It was really late& had spent almost 1 hr speaking w/ someone from the ACS. Again, I'm sorry; not usually so absent minded. I guess the oncologist may be correct that my lung cancer may have spread to my brain also, lol.

    I would suggest (and CSN notes it on their front page) that you not post your email address where it's viewable to anyone with a search engine. Better to send via a private message instead :-)
