Sorry I haven't been on too much lately but it seems like I ran out of energy since I had the heart procedure to open up one of my blocked arteries. Its probably more from the bronchitis or asthma than the heart. Today I went to another cardiologist that will be at the same hospital where I'll be having my masectomy and he gave me the "OK" for surgery next week, April 15. Seems to feel that my shortness of breath is not so much from my heart but changed one of my HB pressure meds so I'll have to see how that goes. Have to admit I've been pretty frustrated lately and was getting real down. I was dxed last Sept. and been on Femara for all these months, tumors have shrunk somewhat, but I just wanted to get the masectomy over with and radiation. I thought I was handling it all pretty well but found myself very emotional the past few weeks, especially after I found out I had heart blockage. So now I'm getting hopeful that next week will finally be another important step in my bc struggle, get the masectomy and rads to follow. Want to thank all of you for your support, encouragement and help in getting thru this. You're a great bunch of sisters!

    That's a long time
That's an awfully long time to wait and worry and not feel well. Get rest so you can be strong for your surgery and know that we're all sending our very best wishes for your swift recovery.

    Sweet Sunrae ♥

Every time I see your beautiful face and smile, it makes me smile. I am so sorry for all of these unforeseen problems that you have been dealing with. I know they are taking a huge toll on you, mentally and physically. I wish there were some magic wand that I could wave and take them all away from you. I hope that the new BP meds will help with your shortness of breath. I also want you to know that I am sending you prayers and strong positive thoughts for your upcoming surgery next week. We will all be there with you Sunrae, praying for you and holding your hand. So, if the room seems crowded, it is because all of your bc sisters are there watching over you. You will get thru this and we will all help you...every step of the way dear friend!

    The 15th
I feel that same connection Jeanne does... for some reason, your picture always makes me feel warm. I haven't been on much lately either. I just haven't had much time, but I'll be thinking about you on the 15th. The 15th is my last day of radiation so we will both be hitting milestones on the same day :) I truly believe that you will feel MUCH better when you wake up and realize that it's finally out of you! Lots of prayers and good wishes for a speedy and full recovery!

    Love, Mar

    Good to hear from you!
Sunrae, you have not had it easy this past year. Cancer was enough to deal with, and then to add another complication with the heart blockage must have really worn you out. I am very glad you were cleared for surgery though. This will a step in the direction of healing that you need. I forsee better days and sunnier skies for you, dear. I wish you a great spring and summer, recuperating and living life. My very best for next week.

Sunrae good to hear from you and thanks for updating us on your progress. And yes, I say progress because you are making steps towards recovery. It is understandable that you would feel emotional, you are going through so much but also seem to be handling it with such courage as well. Hang in there and remember just one day at a time. much love to you.

    so sorry
Thanks so much for the update. I too love seeing your beautiful face. I am so sorry for all the problems on top of the breast cancer. I know it feels bad to be down but, it's pretty natural given all you've had to deal with. So, please don't beat yourself up about being down. It's just OK to be (emotionally) wherever you need to be.
Lots of prayers and good thoughts will be with you now and next week. You are loved!

Thanks for all your love and support. I know when I go into the OR so many of you will be there with me and that's a thought I will dwell on. I think sometimes all my health issues just overwhelm me. Lately my diabetes has been out of whack and that causes me problems too. In the last week I've been to 4 doctors, and only one of them was dealing with bc. I know many others are dealing with problems too as they go thru this battle. I try not be post when I'm feeling so negative but I just had to vent my frustration. Soon I hope to be back to my old bouncy self and get on with my life. I'm so happy to see so many dancing with NED. This kind of news is so uplifting and inspiring and I never tire of reading these posts. I can't wait for my turn but I know I have to take one step at a time to get to that dance. Sisters, we will all get there and we can join in the celebration that goes with dancing with NED. Hang in there and I will too. Love you all.

Another setback today. I noticed yesterday that something was bothering me and had to take a urine sample to the dr today. Now I have a urinary tract infection and have been put on antibiotics for the next 5 days, which may hold up my surgery once again. Still having some coughing and lots of sinus drainage from allergies. Called my surgeon and waiting to find out if it can still be done on April 15th. May not know until one day next week but hoping and praying that these infections will clear up quickly. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
