    Welcome.......
Welcome to the fold, Shirley. I also had right breast mastectomy.

If there is one thing I know, it is that we all have a future. And whatever it may hold, we will get through it. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and go on. That's what we do!

I hope you recover quickly and feel better soon.

    Hugs,

    CR

Welcome to a great board of people.
    Rest--let others wait on you.
Waiting for the final path report is the hardest step. Patience my dear.
I wish you a speedy recovery.

Double mastectomy for me in February.

    Gentle hugs coming,
    Margo

    I had a right breast
I had a right breast mastectomy in 2003. I was released from the hospital on New Year Eve's day. I don't remember New Year Eve 2003 at all. Good luck with the rest of treatment.

    Welcome Shirley...
I am healing from surgery this week too (lumpectomy) and also waiting on results. Yes, this is a wonderful place to get courage and support. Everyone here is so incredible and I don't know how I would have gotten through this so gracefully without them!! We all look forward to the future and I personally hope I will be chatting with everyone and sharing my life and laughter with them for years to come. :) Pammy

    Welcome, Aurora and Shirley
This IS the place to be if you've been diagnosed with breast cancer. It's the club no one wants to belong to, but some of the most wonderful women in the world are here, to listen, hold your hand, pat you on the back, walk you through both the storms and the celebrations. There's no judgment here -- only love and support.

Glad you're here, even though you didn't have a choice.

    Much love,
    Debi (050609, bilateral mastectomy w/reconstruction)
