Warm welcome, Shirley
Glad you found us, though sorry for the reason. Your recent surgery sounds like the very first big step along your journey. Glad it's done, and that you're at home. Best wishes for quick recovery, without complications, and for the best possible outcome from the post-surgery pathology testing. Please keep us posted. We're all here to support and encourage each other.
Kind regards, Susan0 -

Welcome.......
Welcome to the fold, Shirley. I also had right breast mastectomy.
If there is one thing I know, it is that we all have a future. And whatever it may hold, we will get through it. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and go on. That's what we do!
I hope you recover quickly and feel better soon.
Hugs,

Welcome to a great board of people.
Rest--let others wait on you.
Waiting for the final path report is the hardest step. Patience my dear.
I wish you a speedy recovery.
Double mastectomy for me in February.
Gentle hugs coming,

Hi Shirley and Welcome! I
Hi Shirley and Welcome! I am sorry for the reason that you are here, but, you will find so
much support and encouragement from the survivers here that it will help you a LOT! I didn't
have a mastectomy, I had a lumpectomy, but, lots here can answer questions that you might
have on that. Welcome again!0 -
Shirley, welcome
Welcome,
I wish you a speedy recovery from surgery and quick results from the path report. Being here with the new and old-timers, will help you get through whatever may come your way. We are all survivors and understand the fight and the triumph of fighting back.
In the short time I have been on this site, the support and words of encouragement never seem to end. We are all there for you.

Welcome Shirley...
I am healing from surgery this week too (lumpectomy) and also waiting on results. Yes, this is a wonderful place to get courage and support. Everyone here is so incredible and I don't know how I would have gotten through this so gracefully without them!! We all look forward to the future and I personally hope I will be chatting with everyone and sharing my life and laughter with them for years to come. Pammy0 -

This IS the place to be if you've been diagnosed with breast cancer. It's the club no one wants to belong to, but some of the most wonderful women in the world are here, to listen, hold your hand, pat you on the back, walk you through both the storms and the celebrations. There's no judgment here -- only love and support.
Glad you're here, even though you didn't have a choice.
Much love,
Debi (050609, bilateral mastectomy w/reconstruction)0 -
