The Cancer Survivors Network (CSN) is a peer support community for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and friends! CSN is a safe place to connect with others who share your interests and experiences.
Thank you for being a part of the Cancer Survivor Network community. Survivors and caregivers like you have played a unique role in fostering an online environment that encourages connection among those needing support, community, and education. On May 28, the Network will be discontinued. More details are available here . If you have any questions, contact CSNSupportTeam@cancer.org. Thanks again for the support you’ve provided each other over the years. We remain committed to supporting you in other ways throughout your cancer journey.

There is always hope. Is he scheduled for chemo post surgery? Has he had chemo at all? I would probably ask about that to prevent any more sites. What has his general health been like? Don't ever feel that there is no hope, read through some of the posted personal web pages and you will know what I mean. Good luck tomorrow and God bless.

Yes, I was diagnosed with NSCLC in March of 04 and have had a Left Hip Replaced, Left Shoulder and Arm fixation, Left Back Rib Removal, Im doing great now, Chemo, Radiation, and VERY aggressive Dr's. The best thing for you to do is find a good Cancer Center, one that works with Cancer only. It made the difference in my life. Talk about a new outlook on life.
Hang in there, there is hope, I was only givin 6 months to live and that was one and a half years ago.
