Is there any hope ?

My husband 59 diagnosed NSCLC 21 April 05, removal of left upper lobe May 05, pathological fracture right humerus September 05 and now tumor in left knee for total knee replacement tomorrow 13 December 05.

There is always hope. Is he scheduled for chemo post surgery? Has he had chemo at all? I would probably ask about that to prevent any more sites. What has his general health been like? Don't ever feel that there is no hope, read through some of the posted personal web pages and you will know what I mean. Good luck tomorrow and God bless.0

Yes, I was diagnosed with NSCLC in March of 04 and have had a Left Hip Replaced, Left Shoulder and Arm fixation, Left Back Rib Removal, Im doing great now, Chemo, Radiation, and VERY aggressive Dr's. The best thing for you to do is find a good Cancer Center, one that works with Cancer only. It made the difference in my life. Talk about a new outlook on life.
Hang in there, there is hope, I was only givin 6 months to live and that was one and a half years ago.0
