I am a cancer survivor of l0 years of non hodgkins lymphoma. Is there anyone out there that continues after all that time to be frightened of their annnual cat scans or do you still have them. My messenteric lymph nodes have enlarged since the remission but they remain negative. I am very lucky to have survived for so long and I still am tired very easily. I am 59 yrs. old and am active and play tennis and excerise everyday. If you have any comments, please email me at sharoninkeys@hotmail.com

Hi Sharon, I just registered on this site because I'm looking to hear from others with NHL. I was newly diagnosed this year , Jan.7th. I have Grade I/Stage III NHL. (slow growing). I have taken two months to seek out information, talk to people, before deciding on treatment. I will undergo weekly treatments of Rituxan starting next week. I am 49 years old, and very active. I am a dancer, choreographer, and teacher, and hope and pray for many more years to "do my thing". My wonderful husband has been by my side through it all, and I am thankful for that. I just need to hear hope and '"positives" from other folks. Please write me back. Thanks so much.. Barbara

Hi, I had stage 3, aggressive lymphoma in 1993 and so far am cancer free. I had it in every lymph gland in my body. I actually died and they brought me back. I had chop chemo for six sesssions every three weeks. I am blessed but still seem to be more tired than most people my age. I play tennis daily and do pool aeorbics daily. I still have cat scans and still am scared to death every time. As I said my messenteric glands have enlarged but still test negative for lymphoma. Keep fighting and have a positive attitude. Sharon

hi I have had 8 treatments of chop and rixtuian. My question is that I have had all of these treatments and now they are not sure if I have new cancer or not. I was very sick and they took a cat scan and saw new spots and than - I took a pet scan and they where bigger. Could it be because I was sick or is it more cancer . The Dr. doesn't know and I can't be tested for a couple more months it is just scarey. I would like to say I beat this, I was staged at stage 3.
